On December 18, Sany Hydrogen Energy successfully dispatched the first set of the world's largest 9600 Nm³/h integrated hydrogen production BOP system, custom-built for the CCTEG Ordos Energy Chemical 100,000-ton Liquid Sunshine demonstration project. The shipment of this key equipment marks the official entry of this world's first industrial-scale Liquid Sunshine benchmark project into the critical stage of equipment delivery and installation, laying a solid foundation for the subsequent full-chain implementation of green hydrogen synthesis into methanol.

It is reported that the CCTEG 100,000-ton Liquid Sunshine project is a benchmark project in the global hydrogen energy and carbon cycle field. It is supported by 400 MW PV and 225 MW wind power green electricity resources and is expected to produce 21,000 mt of hydrogen annually, enabling downstream output of 100,000 mt of methanol. The project innovatively integrates the entire "wind & solar green electricity - green hydrogen - carbon cycle" chain, establishing a million-ton-level carbon dioxide resource utilization system. Upon operation, it will become the world's largest-scale green hydrogen-to-methanol plant.

The 9600 Nm³/h hydrogen production BOP system delivered by Sany Hydrogen Energy this time is the core equipment adapted for the Liquid Sunshine scenario. It includes eight 1200 Nm³/h alkaline electrolyzers (volumetric method), supported by core equipment such as two sets of 4800 Nm³/h gas-liquid separation systems and one set of 9600 Nm³/h hydrogen purification system. It is a newly developed second-generation flagship hydrogen production product from Sany Hydrogen Energy, featuring six core upgrade advantages: First, stronger adaptability, with a load range of 10%-110%, suitable for new energy fluctuations; second, enhanced system safety, fortifying safety defenses through multiple interlocking and anti-backflow measures; third, more convenient operation, with modular design improving maintenance efficiency; fourth, higher degree of automation, enabling fully automated processes such as water replenishment and sampling; fifth, superior energy efficiency, reducing overall energy consumption through technologies like heat recovery; and sixth, environmental protection, achieving complete alkali solution recovery with zero discharge.

It is noteworthy that Sany Group and China National Coal Group have recently reached a consensus to deepen their cooperation. Xiang Wenbo, Secretary of the Party Committee and Rotating Chairman of Sany Group, and Wang Shudong, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of China Coal, held in-depth discussions on cooperation matters. Both parties unanimously agreed to expand comprehensive cooperation in the fields of new energy, grid-forming ESS, intelligent manufacturing, smart mines, and overseas business development, aiming for mutual benefit and win-win outcomes.

Apart from the China Coal project, Sany Hydrogen Energy will soon deliver dozens of sets of thousand-cubic-meter-scale hydrogen production systems to enterprises such as PowerChina and Xinjiang Zhongrong, continuously providing the "Sany Solution" for global green hydrogen projects. In the future, Sany Hydrogen Energy will adhere to the "Quality First Strategy," focus on customer needs, deepen efforts in diversified application scenarios such as hydrogen chemical industry, hydrogen metallurgy, hydrogen transportation, and natural gas blending with hydrogen, and advance hydrogen production equipment toward high-end, engineering, and industrialisation, contributing "Sany Strength" to the high-quality development of the global hydrogen energy industry.
