Trinasolar and China Energy Engineering Corporation Deepen Strategic Cooperation, Empowering the "Dual Carbon" Goals Through the Integration of "Four New" Elements

On December 11, the "New Energy, New Infrastructure, New Equipment, New Materials" (referred to as the "Four New") Alliance 2025 Annual Conference was held in Changzhou. Trinasolar was honored as an "Outstanding Member Unit of the 2025 Alliance" for its outstanding contributions in the industrial sector. Chairman Gao Jifan was invited to speak and, on behalf of the company, signed a strategic cooperation agreement with China Energy Engineering Group Co., Ltd. (referred to as "China Energy Engineering"). The two parties will focus on three major directions: technological breakthroughs, benchmark project construction, and industrial integration, to deepen all-round cooperation and contribute to building a modern energy system.

Ma Xin, Standing Committee Member of the Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee and Executive Vice Governor; Ni Zhen, Party Committee Secretary and Chairman of China Energy Engineering; and Zhou Wei, Deputy Secretary of the Changzhou Municipal Party Committee and Mayor, attended the conference and delivered speeches. As an important member of the "Four New" Alliance, Trinasolar has a long history of cooperation with China Energy Engineering. Since 2021, the two parties have successively signed multiple strategic agreements. In 2022, they jointly initiated the establishment of the "China New-Type Energy Storage Industry Innovation Alliance." From 2023 to 2025, cooperation continued to deepen. Trinasolar has been shortlisted for multiple consecutive years in China Energy Engineering's centralized procurement catalogs for PV modules, ESS, mounting structures, and hydrogen energy. The total cooperation volume for PV modules and mounting structures exceeded 10 GW, and the scale of ESS project cooperation surpassed 1 GWh, with several PV+ESS power plant projects becoming national benchmarks.

According to the strategic cooperation agreement signed this time, the two parties will further leverage their leading advantages in the PV industry and the energy and power sectors, focusing on advancing three core areas of cooperation: First, jointly overcoming key technologies such as perovskite tandem modules, long-life, high-safety energy storage systems, and intelligent management to create integrated "Four New" solutions; Second, collaboratively constructing benchmark integrated PV projects such as offshore PV, smart microgrids, and zero-carbon parks, validating technological value in practical scenarios; Third, breaking industry boundaries to facilitate the low-carbon transformation of new scenarios like green hydrogen-ammonia-methanol, green computing power, and green mines, building a modern energy ecosystem.

During the conference, Trinasolar comprehensively showcased successful practices of its global PV+ESS smart energy solutions, including four core application solutions: zero-carbon parks, green electricity direct connection, energy integration, and green shipping, as well as provincial-level projects implemented in zero-carbon scenarios such as green hydrogen-ammonia-methanol production, integration of green electricity and computing power, and generation-grid-load-storage integration. It also showcased core products including the Vertex high-efficiency N-type modules, the Elementa smart and safe energy storage system, and smart trackers.

It is reported that the "Four New" Alliance was initiated by China Energy Engineering in 2022, and currently has 348 member units. This conference released the "Four New" Alliance's "16th Five-Year Plan" development initiative and a series of achievements including new energy development scenario practices, electrified canals, and technological innovation. Trinasolar explicitly supports the alliance's initiative, accelerating R&D breakthroughs and the transformation of achievements. It will play a role in the development of diverse scenarios such as large-scale "desert-gobi-wasteland" bases, offshore energy, and green hydrogen-ammonia-alcohol-oil projects. The company will promote new models of industrial integration like "Energy+," "Green+," and "AI+," resist involution-style competition, create world-class products and solutions, and contribute to global green, low-carbon, and sustainable development.
