Dongfang Boiler Completes Delivery of 100 Sets of Fuel Cell Cogeneration Systems for "Hydrogen Enters Every Household" Initiative, Facilitating the Implementation of Hydrogen Energy in Civilian Applications

Recently, as a key participant in the "Hydrogen for All" technology demonstration project, Dongfang Boiler successfully delivered 100 sets of 1kW fuel cell combined heat and power (CHP) systems, laying a crucial foundation for the safe and efficient introduction of hydrogen into residential settings.

In response to the stringent requirements for safety, durability, and cost-effectiveness in home applications, Dongfang Boiler has successfully developed and manufactured a 1kW fuel cell CHP system that is highly efficient, long-lasting, and low-cost. The company overcame a series of core technological challenges, including the design of an efficient hybrid system architecture, precise thermal and electrical control strategies for residential use, and high-integration optimization for household appliances. After multiple rounds of iteration and upgrades, the system's volume was reduced by over 40%, while also adopting user-friendly designs such as standardized external interfaces and easy installation, enabling flexible operation in both off-grid and grid-connected modes. The system has passed a 7500-hour durability test, with a designed lifespan of up to 40000 hours, far exceeding the expectations for conventional household equipment, demonstrating broad application prospects in both residential and small commercial scenarios.

The "Hydrogen for All" technology demonstration project is currently the world's most extensive and largest-scale comprehensive hydrogen application initiative, planning to construct "one hydrogen highway, two hydrogen ports, three science popularization bases, four hydrogen parks, and five hydrogen communities." The successful delivery and deployment of 100 sets of 1kW CHP systems in Shandong Province marks significant progress in the construction of "hydrogen communities" under the national "Hydrogen for All" benchmark demonstration project, steadily turning the blueprint of clean and efficient energy into reality for ordinary households.
