On November 9 local time, the first China-Egypt Investment Forum, jointly organized by the Chinese Embassy in Egypt, the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones of Egypt, and the Egyptian Businessmen Association, was held in Cairo. Egyptian Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade Hassan Khatib, Chinese Vice Minister of Commerce and Deputy International Trade Negotiator Ling Ji, Chinese Ambassador to Egypt Liao Liqiang, Deputy Speaker of the Egyptian House of Representatives Abu Enein, and Secretary General of the Egyptian Businessmen Association Manzalawi attended the opening ceremony and delivered speeches.
