The MIIT issued a notice on matters related to the average fuel consumption and NEV credit management for passenger vehicle automakers for the 2026–2027 period. The NEV credit ratio requirements for 2026 and 2027 are set at 48% and 58%, respectively. For domestic passenger vehicle producers with an annual production volume below 2,000 units that maintain independent production, R&D, and operations, as well as import passenger vehicle supply enterprises authorized by overseas passenger vehicle producers with imports below 2,000 units, if their average fuel consumption decreases by more than 4% compared to the previous year, their compliance target will be relaxed by 60% based on the average fuel consumption requirement specified in the "Assessment Methods and Targets for Passenger Vehicle Fuel Consumption" (GB 27999). If the decrease is more than 2% but less than 4%, the compliance target will be relaxed by 30%.

[SMM Tin News: Andrada Signs Exclusive Offtake Agreement with Thaisarco for Uis Tin Concentrates]
August 28 news from international media: Andrada Mining announced that its long-term tin product offtaker, Thailand Smelting & Refining Co (Thaisarco), has strengthened its supply agreement with Andrada’s wholly owned subsidiary Uis Tin Mining Company (UTMC), securing exclusive purchasing rights for all tin concentrates produced at the Uis mine. Thaisarco also paid a $3 million unsecured exclusive cooperation advance, and UTMC may independently determine the repayment arrangement according to the agreed repayment terms. The agreement locks in a long-term sales channel for Uis tin concentrates, provides revenue security for stable mine operations, and also reflects downstream smelters’ recognition of the quality of Andrada’s tin resources.
