Tracking Green Hydrogen Projects: Lanshi Group Delivers First Overseas PEM Electrolysis Water Hydrogen Production System

On November 5, the first overseas 10 Nm³/h PEM electrolysis water hydrogen production system, undertaken by Lanshi Heavy Equipment Guangdong Company, successfully completed all production tests and was officially shipped. This project is an important achievement of the industrialisation cooperation platform between Lanshi Group and Xianhu Laboratory, and also marks the successful delivery of Lanshi Group's first international order in the field of hydrogen production equipment, taking a solid step forward in the synergistic development of both parties in the field of hydrogen energy equipment.

It is understood that since the signing of the order in May, faced with the stringent requirements of overseas users for product performance and standard specifications, the project team of Guangdong Lanshi Company and Xianhu Technology deeply collaborated and jointly tackled challenges, pooling the technical advantages of both parties to tailor a high-performance, highly reliable customised solution for the customer. This ultimately led to on-time, high-quality delivery, with the system's performance fully meeting customer expectations.

This system adopts a modular integrated design, featuring a compact structure and scientific layout, enabling a stable hydrogen production rate of 10 Nm³/h. The core PEM electrolyser utilises a "zero-gap" design, which significantly optimises overall performance while ensuring the sealing performance of the stack structure—the current density can reach ≥2 A/cm², the average cell voltage under rated power conditions is ≤1.82 V, and the specific energy consumption for hydrogen production is as low as ≤4.2 kWh/Nm³. The hydrogen production pressure can be flexibly adjusted within the range of 0.1 MPa to 3.0 MPa, and the output hydrogen purity is as high as 99.999%. Prior to delivery, the equipment successfully passed a 7×24-hour continuous, uninterrupted operational stability test, demonstrating reliable performance.

The successful delivery of this project signifies that Lanshi Group has the capability to provide international clients with a full-chain system solution—from technology R&D, project design, and equipment manufacturing to installation, commissioning, and after-sales maintenance—in the field of hydrogen energy equipment. In the next step, Guangdong Lanshi Company will continue to optimise technical solutions, deepen its presence in the hydrogen-based energy equipment market, precisely address the differentiated needs of various regional markets, steadily expand international cooperation opportunities, promote more independently developed hydrogen energy equipment to go global, and contribute Lanshi's strength to the global green energy transition.
