Trina Storage Wins 233MW/1,003MWh Overseas GWh-Scale Energy Storage Project in Chile

【SMM Flash News】China's Trina Storage has secured a 233MW/1,003MWh grid-forming energy storage project in Chile with Atlas Renewable Energy, marking another GWh-scale overseas order. Utilizing Trina's Elementa series designed for extreme environments, the project will support Chile's mining sector with solar-storage integration while enhancing grid resilience through advanced black-start and frequency stabilization capabilities. The deal expands Trina's LatAm footprint, with 1.2GWh delivered in 2025 and 2.5GWh contracted for 2026 across Chile, Argentina, and Central America.
