On October 1, the list of successful tender candidates was announced for the public tender of the pilot project on flexible electrolytic water ammonia synthesis system integration technology equipment system integration R&D and testing services of Guohua Investment Shandong Guohua Times Investment Development Co., Ltd. Fuda Zijin Hydrogen Energy Technology Co., Ltd. and Huadian Heavy Industries Co., Ltd. were the first and second successful candidates, respectively, marking a critical decision-making phase for the project in the equipment system integration R&D and testing services segment.

Project Core Indicators

  • Construction Scale: The project plans to construct a pilot electrolytic water ammonia synthesis system integration technology facility with an annual production capacity of approximately 1,000 mt, utilizing a 500 Nm³/hour water electrolyzer and ammonia synthesis equipment with an annual output of about 1,000 mt. The main equipment is skid-mounted.
  • Technical Pathway: It utilizes grid power to simulate wind and solar power output via a power supply generator, produces hydrogen through water electrolysis, and synthesizes ammonia with externally purchased vaporized liquid nitrogen, simulating the response of electrolytic water hydrogen production and ammonia synthesis unit load fluctuations to power fluctuations.

  • Tender Scope: Covers detailed design optimization, construction drawings, as-built drawings, equipment procurement, construction (fabrication), commissioning, cumulative testing exceeding 1,000 hours (including all testing-related costs), assisting with acceptance, providing test data, preparing the final project report and financial settlement, audit reports, etc. After acceptance, transport to a designated location within Shandong Province and handle loading/unloading and warranty services, encompassing all tasks.
  • Project Service Period: The contract becomes effective upon signing and sealing by both parties, valid for 10 years, terminating after all contract payments are completed before expiry. Compliance procedures must be completed within 5 months, full equipment installation and commissioning within 6 months of contract signing, the 1,000-hour testing within 11 months, process package preparation within 1 month after testing completion, and all work (including publishing 2 papers, applying for 4 invention patents) within 1 year of contract signing. Any adjustments to the time period plan by the bidder require confirmation from the tendering party.

  • First Successful Candidate: Fuda Zijin Hydrogen Energy Technology Co., Ltd., with a bid price of 32.7513 million yuan, meets the qualification requirements and has relevant experience including the membrane reactor ammonia synthesis laboratory evaluation unit project.
  • Second Successful Candidate: Huadian Heavy Industries Co., Ltd., with a bid price of 32.186 million yuan, meets the qualification requirements and has relevant experience including the Hanhong Hydrogen Energy Technology Co., Ltd. Green Hydrogen Industrial Park project.
