Tracking of Green Hydrogen Projects: International Green Energy Trading Service Center and Green Digital Supply Chain Platform for Shipping Confirm Deployment in Shanghai Qingpu

On September 26, 2025, Zhongmin (Liaoning) Industrial Group and leaders of Zhaoxiang Town, Qingpu District, Shanghai, held discussions and reached consensus on the implementation of the International Green Energy Trading Service Center and the Yangtze River Green Digital Shipping Supply Chain Service Platform. This marks the entry into the substantive advancement stage of the two major platforms' layout in Shanghai's Qingpu District, which is expected to inject new momentum into regional green development.

Project Core Information

Project Entity: Led by Zhongmin (Liaoning) Industrial Group, with the Qingpu District government actively creating an industrial ecosystem and optimizing the business environment to provide support.

Platform Functions:

International Green Energy Trading Service Center: To build an international platform integrating international green energy certification, carbon footprint system certification, green energy trading and settlement, price indices, standard setting, and data services. It will focus on green energies such as green hydrogen, ammonia, and alcohols, introduce national-level information institutions and industry leaders for joint development, help grasp international pricing power and rule-making power for green energy, and promote the internationalization of the digital yuan.

Yangtze River Green Digital Shipping Supply Chain Service Platform: To construct a "five-in-one" green digital ecological platform for shipping, encompassing green energy supply, ship modification, bunkering and storage, supply chain finance, and digital systems. It aims to achieve the integration of logistics, information flow, capital flow, commerce flow, and carbon flow, and promote the agglomeration and development of emerging industries such as new energy, intelligent equipment, and carbon trading.

Regional Strategic Significance and Industrial Value

The two projects align with the national "dual carbon" goals and represent new momentum for leading the diversified green development of energy and promoting the green and high-quality development of the Yangtze River Economic Belt. They can provide high-quality industrial leadership for regional development and serve as demonstration models for the internationalization of the green energy industry and the green transformation of shipping.
