【SMM Steel】Canada starts AD reviews on carbon steel welded pipes from four countries

【SMM Steel】On September 29, 2025, the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) initiated an administrative review of anti-dumping (AD) duties on carbon steel welded pipes originating in or exported from Pakistan, the Philippines, Turkey (excluding Erbosan Erciyas Boru Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş.), and Vietnam. This review follows the Canadian International Trade Tribunal’s (CITT) finding issued on February 15, 2019. Exporters must submit information by November 5, 2025, while importers have until October 20, 2025. Exporters who fail to cooperate with the review will face AD duty rates of 66.8% for Pakistan and the Philippines, 45.8% for Turkey, and 54.2% for Vietnam.
