On September 22, Qingji Energy's F200 fuel cell power system passed the first article inspection for the Lishui Demonstration Section project of the Nanhai District tramway and completed its first batch of deliveries. The inspection was jointly conducted by an expert panel comprising the project owner, supervision team, and CRRC Sifang, confirming that the product complies with technical standards.
Core Indicators:
Inspection Process: The expert panel conducted comprehensive technical verification of process quality documents, physical products, and operational sites, with full supervision witnessing. The first article met standards and was delivered.
System Positioning: The F200 system serves as the core power source for the tramway, and its delivery marks a critical phase in the demonstration line's construction.
Quality Control: The enterprise's R&D capabilities and quality control system were recognized by the expert panel, ensuring product reliability.
Strategic Significance:
This project is a significant milestone in the demonstration and application of hydrogen-powered tramways. The first inspection established standardized entry criteria for fuel cells in the rail transit sector. Qingji Energy's collaboration with central state-owned enterprises like CRRC Sifang provides a technical benchmark for the localisation of hydrogen rail transit.
Broader Impact:
The successful advancement of the tramway demonstration line indicates the penetration of hydrogen transportation into the "urban rail transit" scenario—compared to heavy-duty trucks, tramways impose higher requirements on system stability and safety. This delivery paves the way for the large-scale deployment of hydrogen in urban public transportation systems. It holds potential for replication in more cities, supporting the "Hydrogen Entering Millions of Homes" demonstration project.
