On September 22, Guohong Hydrogen Energy and its strategic partners delivered 14 hydrogen-powered heavy-duty trucks with a capacity of 49 mt to the Shendong Tianlong Coal Mine in Ordos City's Yijinhuoluo Banner. This delivery marks the official entry of hydrogen-powered heavy-duty trucks into the coal logistics sector, providing an economically viable pathway for the green, zero-carbon transformation of traditional high-carbon transportation.

Vehicle Core Performance and Economic Benefits:

Environmental Benefits: Each vehicle travels 100,000 km annually, reducing approximately 120 mt of carbon dioxide emissions, equivalent to planting 11,000 trees.

Economic Efficiency: The hydrogen consumption per 100 km is only 8 kg, with a fuel cost of about 220 yuan, saving 80 yuan per 100 km compared to internal combustion engine vehicles. The total life cycle cost can be reduced by nearly 400,000 yuan.

Operational Efficiency: The driving range exceeds 400 km, enabling cold starts at temperatures as low as -30℃, and refueling can be completed in 15 minutes, fully meeting the operational requirements of cold northern regions. The vehicles are equipped with a big data cloud platform and are supported by on-site after-sales teams providing follow-up services to ensure operational safety.

Regional Strategic Significance:
As a key national energy base, Ordos is rich in wind and solar power resources, providing unique conditions for large-scale production of green hydrogen. The deployment of these hydrogen-powered heavy-duty trucks combines the local green energy advantages with heavy-duty transportation needs, effectively promoting the formation of a closed-loop entire industry chain for "wind and solar power, hydrogen, storage, and vehicles." This not only injects new momentum into the zero-carbon transformation of coal logistics but also provides an "Ordos model" for other resource-based regions to develop green transportation.

Conclusion:
This delivery demonstrates that hydrogen-powered heavy-duty trucks already possess the economic efficiency and reliability for commercial operation in heavy logistics sectors such as coal. As hydrogen vehicles are deployed in bulk across more high-emission industries, they will provide solid support for achieving the "dual carbon" goals and building a green, low-carbon transportation system.
