Shibaura Machine Develops Ultra-Large Die-Casting Machine for SEOJIN SYSTEM, Plans Product Line Expansion

According to a report from Shibaura Machine Co., Ltd., the company is currently developing and manufacturing a 12,000 mt ultra-large die-casting machine for SEOJIN SYSTEM CO., LTD, a listed enterprise in South Korea. In Q2 of this year, Shibaura Machine announced that it had officially received an order from SEOJIN SYSTEM CO., LTD's Vietnam factory to supply two ultra-large die-casting machines, the DC12000GS, with a clamping force of 12,000 mt, suitable for integrated die-casting technology.

Shibaura Machine revealed that the 12,000 mt ultra-large die-casting machine is the largest die-casting equipment of its kind in Japan. It measures 27 meters in width, 9 meters in length, and approximately 9 meters in height, with a total weight of 1,100 mt. In the future, the company is expected to launch multiple models with clamping forces ranging from 6,000 to 9,000 mt, forming a complete product line layout.

The DC12000GS enables the integrated die-casting of larger aluminum auto body parts, significantly improving production efficiency. The products planned for production include not only large battery cases but also large structural components such as auto body chassis parts.
