Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On the evening of September 17, BYD's premium sub-brand DENZA officially put the 2026 DENZA N9 model onto the market, offering three trim levels priced between 389,800 yuan and 449,800 yuan. The refreshed model introduces a new "Lǜhua Silver" exterior finish, complementing the previously added "Zirong Gold." Both adopt a dual-tone body design.
As an annual update, the 2026 DENZA N9 largely retains the styling of the current model, maintaining DENZA's recognizable family design language. Measuring 5,258 mm in length, 2,030 mm in width, and 1,830 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,125 mm, the SUV also comes equipped with more user-friendly power-deployable side steps.
Inside, a new "Jinshan Brown" interior scheme gives the cabin a retro yet composed feel. The setup includes a 13.2-inch 2.5K digital instrument panel, a 17.3-inch central display, and a 13.2-inch passenger screen, supported by a 50-inch AR-HUD. A 26-speaker Devialet sound system and the latest DiLink 150 smart cockpit are standard features. Buyers can also choose from "Bótan Gray" or "Yunjin Beige" color themes.
The SUV follows a 2+2+2 six-seat configuration. The front passenger seat is designed as a "zero-gravity queen seat," while both the first and second rows feature heating, ventilation, and massage functions. The second row is further enhanced with lateral adjustment, dual folding tables, two 50W wireless charging pads, a 17.3-inch ceiling-mounted screen, and an onboard refrigerator. Even the third row offers power adjustment and heated seats.
On the technology front, the 2026 DENZA N9 comes with the "DiPilot 300" driver assistance suite, which enables end-to-end map-free urban navigation. Hardware includes a high-precision LiDAR, five millimeter-wave radars covering the front and rear sides, 12 cameras, and 12 ultrasonic sensors. Powering the system is NVIDIA's Orin X chip, delivering 254 TOPS of computing power.
For performance, the 2026 DENZA N9 employs a plug-in hybrid system combining a 2.0T turbocharged engine with 44.13% thermal efficiency and three electric motors, together delivering up to 680 kW. The SUV claims a CLTC-rated battery-powered range of 202 km and a combined range of 1,302 km, with a 0–100 km/h sprint in just 3.9 seconds. Advanced technologies include DENZA's e3 Platform and DiSus A suspension system, alongside four core features: independent tri-motor drive, dual-motor rear-wheel steering (±20°), vehicle motion control (VMC), and PHEV-dedicated CTB (cell-to-body) technology. These enable a suite of capabilities such as ultra-tight 4.65-meter turning, compass-like U-turns, assisted parking, enhanced stability on low-grip surfaces, blowout stability at high speeds, 15° crab walking, and snow-mode maneuvering.
