






On August 19, the winning bid result for the hydrogen production equipment and supporting procurement project (Package Two) of PowerChina's 200MW PV power generation project in ZaoYang, XiangYang City, Hubei Province, was announced, with Sany Hydrogen Co., Ltd. as the winning bidder.
On the same day, a public tender announcement was issued for the hydrogen production equipment and supporting procurement of PowerChina's 200MW PV power generation project in ZaoYang, XiangYang City, Hubei Province.
According to the tender announcement, the 200MW PV power generation project in ZaoYang, XiangYang City, Hubei Province, is located in ZaoYang City, Hubei Province, and follows an integrated development model of PV + water electrolysis hydrogen production. The project includes a 200MW PV power generation project and a 4200Nm³/h water electrolysis hydrogen production project.
The water electrolysis hydrogen production project has a construction scale of 4200Nm³/h, planning to select internationally advanced 1000Nm³/h water electrolysis hydrogen production equipment and 200Nm³/h PEM hydrogen production equipment. The proposed site is within the Chengnan Chemical Industrial Park in ZaoYang City, Hubei Province. By consuming off-peak electricity, hydrogen will be produced through water electrolysis, which will then be transported via pipelines to hydrogen-consuming enterprises within the industrial park. Excess hydrogen will be transported by tankers to other hydrogen-consuming enterprises in XiangYang City. The power supply for hydrogen production will use the 10kV power supply from the nearby chemical industrial park. Five sets of electrolyzer systems can operate alternately as needed. The power system, compressors, oxygen purification and compression equipment, etc., will be expanded after hydrogen consumption reaches the expected level.
The scope of the tender includes: 1000Nm³/h alkaline + 200Nm³/h PEM hybrid cell equipment and its ancillary equipment, including hydrogen production systems, filling systems, electrical systems, control systems, water treatment systems, and other required equipment design, manufacturing, inspection, packaging, insurance, transportation, delivery, acceptance (including archival acceptance), on-site commissioning and installation guidance, preparation and submission of technical documents, training of operating personnel, and maintenance and upkeep during the warranty period, as well as spare parts and special tools; an integrated control platform for efficient and automatic operation of the entire plant; and wind and solar power output simulators. All equipment and instruments within the supply scope, whether explicitly stated or not in the contract, are part of the bidder's supply scope if they are necessary for the safety of the system or the quality of hydrogen output, and the bidder should provide them unconditionally.
Delivery period: 100 calendar days after the contract is signed.
This tender does not accept bids from agents or consortia.
It is understood that on June 9, PowerChina had previously issued a tender document,
the scope of which included: Package 1: 1000Nm³/h alkaline + 200Nm³/h PEM hybrid cell equipment and its ancillary equipment, including hydrogen production systems, filling systems, electrical systems, control systems, water treatment systems, and other required equipment design, manufacturing, inspection, packaging, insurance, transportation, delivery, acceptance (including archival acceptance), on-site commissioning and installation guidance, preparation and submission of technical documents, training of operating personnel, and maintenance and upkeep during the warranty period, as well as spare parts and special tools; an integrated control platform for efficient and automatic operation of the entire plant; and wind and solar power output simulators.
Package 2: 3*1000Nm³/h conventional alkaline cell equipment and its ancillary equipment, including hydrogen production system, electrical system, control system, design, manufacture, inspection, packaging, insurance, transportation, delivery, acceptance (including archive acceptance), on-site commissioning and on-site installation guidance, preparation and submission of technical documents, training of operating personnel, and maintenance and servicing during the warranty period, as well as spare parts, special tools, etc.
It should be noted that all equipment, instruments, etc., within the scope of supply, whether specified in the contract or not, are within the bidder's scope of supply if they are required for the safety of the system or the quality of the hydrogen produced, and the bidder shall provide them unconditionally.
On July 29, PowerChina announced the list of winning bidders for the hydrogen production equipment and supporting procurement project (Package 2) of the 200MW PV power generation project in ZaoYang, XiangYang City, Hubei Province. The first candidate was Sany Hydrogen Energy Co., Ltd., with a bid price of 19,026,900 yuan. The second candidate was Sunlight Hydrogen Technology Co., Ltd., with a bid price of 21,088,000 yuan.
On August 7, PowerChina issued a termination notice for the hydrogen production equipment and supporting procurement project (Package 1) of the 200MW PV power generation project in ZaoYang, XiangYang City, Hubei Province. Due to project reasons, after research by the bid inviter, it was decided to terminate this procurement project for Package 1.
