【SMM Nickel Market】EcoPro exceeds 300,000 tons in NCA cathode sales

【SMM Nickel Market】South Korea’s EcoPro announced that cumulative sales of its nickel-cobalt-aluminum (NCA) cathode materials surpassed 300,000 tons in H1 2025, enough for about 3 million EVs. Of this, 200,000 tons were sold since 2022 amid rising demand for EVs and ESS. Since commercializing high-nickel NCA in 2008, EcoPro has steadily advanced the technology and is now partnering with Samsung SDI to develop cathodes with up to 95% nickel content.
