The Sinomine Zhengyuan lithium battery precursor project located in the eastern park of Tongling Economic and Technological Development Zone Anhui has entered the full trial production stage. The project is planned to have a total investment of 10 billion yuan, with three phases constructing a capacity of 60,000 mt of lithium battery cathode material precursors (including 20,000 mt of Co3O4 and 40,000 mt of ternary cathode precursor). This trial production phase involves the first phase of the project, which upon reaching full production, will achieve an annual output of 20,000 mt of ternary cathode precursor for lithium-ion batteries and 10,000 mt of Co3O4, with an expected annual output value of 3 to 4 billion yuan.
