On August 8, 2025, the delivery ceremony for hydrogen-powered heavy trucks, themed "Embarking on a New Journey of Hydrogen Energy in Tianjin-Jinhu Area, Unleashing New Momentum for Bincheng's Green Transformation", was held at the Hydrogen Energy Demonstration Industrial Park in the Tianjin Port Free Trade Zone. Following the delivery of an additional 59 hydrogen-powered heavy trucks by Rockcheck New Energy Group, its operational fleet of hydrogen-powered heavy trucks reached 860 units, continuing to lead the domestic industry and injecting new momentum into the regional upgrade of green transportation.

1. Delivery Scale and Industry Position
After this delivery, Rockcheck New Energy's total operational fleet of hydrogen-powered heavy trucks reached 860 units, firmly securing the top position in the domestic operational scale of hydrogen-powered commercial vehicles110. The vehicles are equipped with the Fe6-200kW large-power hydrogen fuel cell system independently developed by Rockcheck Hydrogen Power, achieving a maximum system efficiency of 63%, a 10% reduction in overall energy consumption, and a single-refueling driving range of 600 kilometers, capable of adapting to extreme environments ranging from -40℃ to 50℃110. Additionally, the 400kW fuel cell stack hydrogen-powered heavy truck, led by Rockcheck New Energy in R&D, has completed vehicle integration and entered the practical testing phase, setting a new industry record for single-stack power15.

2. Technological Breakthroughs and Innovations

Powertrain System:Adopting graphite-metal composite bipolar plate technology and paired with a 510kW peak power drive motor, the system efficiency is increased to 63%, and hydrogen consumption is reduced to 7-8 kg per 100 kilometers35.

Lightweight Design:Combining innovative thermal management technology with Type Ⅳ lightweight hydrogen cylinders (provided by Tianhai Hydrogen Energy), the vehicle's weight is controlled within the 10-mt class, significantly improving the payload utilization rate310.

Extreme Environment Adaptability:The electric drive axle has passed the -40℃ low-temperature start-up test, and the 800V silicon carbide controller achieves an efficiency of 99.7%, meeting the demands of long-haul trunk line logistics15.

3. Industry Chain Collaboration and Policy Support
This delivery was accomplished through collaboration among industry chain enterprises including Rockcheck New Energy, Yuancheng New Energy Commercial Vehicles, Bosch Hydrogen Power, and Tianhai Hydrogen Energy. Among them, Bosch provided high-pressure fan cooling modules (with a 10% efficiency improvement), and Tianhai Hydrogen Energy provided the largest-capacity Type Ⅳ hydrogen storage system in China1011. As the core area of the hydrogen energy industry, the Tianjin Port Free Trade Zone promotes the localization of indigenous technologies such as the "Free Trade Zone Core" fuel cell system through policy support and infrastructure construction, showcasing the strength of "Binhai Intelligence Manufacturing"810.

4. Strategic Significance and Future Planning
Rockcheck New Energy plans to leverage the policy advantages of the Tianjin Port Free Trade Zone to accelerate the expansion of hydrogen energy transportation corridors in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and across the country, promoting the commercial application of 400kW fuel cell stack heavy trucks. As a partner, Yuancheng New Energy Commercial Vehicles will take this delivery as an opportunity to deepen the "methanol-hydrogen + electric" technology route, assisting Tianjin in building a green and low-carbon transportation system710.
