【SMM Flash News】KBR announced it has secured a front-end engineering design (FEED) contract from INPEX Masela Ltd. for the onshore liquefied natural gas (LNG) facilities of the Abadi LNG project in Indonesia, a development recognized by the government as a national strategic project. The Abadi LNG project targets peak output of 9.5 million tons per annum of LNG and 150 million standard cubic feet per day of pipeline gas. Working in partnership with Samsung E&A and PT Adhi Karya, KBR will deliver comprehensive FEED services to support INPEX in advancing toward its final investment decision. Executives from both companies emphasized the project’s strategic role in bolstering Indonesia’s energy security and delivering long-term value, with KBR highlighting its proven expertise in LNG engineering solutions.
