[SMM Nickel News] Recently, the stainless steel composite material manufacturing project of Fujian Qingtuo Composite New Materials Co., Ltd. has completed its registration. The project is expected to produce 50,000 mt of stainless steel composite materials annually, further enriching the layout of the regional stainless steel industry chain.

It is reported that the project will lease an existing 20,000 m² factory building from Fujian Qingtuo Equipment Manufacturing Co., Ltd., using stainless steel and carbon steel plates as the main raw materials for production. Stainless steel composite materials will be produced through processes such as surface polishing, pressing, and billet assembly, as well as vacuum electron beam welding. In terms of equipment configuration, the project will purchase one set of 2,400-ton CNC straightening machines, one set of grinding and polishing units with a dust removal system, two sets of AI visual surface inspection systems, two sets of automatic stacking systems, one set of laser cleaning systems, one set of 300-ton hydraulic + laser welding systems, eight sets of roller conveyor systems, one set of vacuum welding systems, as well as power supply and distribution facilities, circulating water systems, argon gas facilities, etc. Meanwhile, it will rent two bridge cranes, one single-beam crane, and other auxiliary production and environmental protection facilities, with equipment installation costs reaching 3 million yuan.
