According to SMM, nickel ore prices in the Philippines fell to some extent in July. Meanwhile, as macro sentiment drove the recovery of stainless steel finished product prices, NPI prices also rose. However, despite the reduction in losses, domestic smelters were still in a state of losses. Under the circumstances of continuous losses, most high-grade NPI smelters continued to operate at low capacity, and the metal content of domestic high-grade NPI fell by 7.87% MoM.
