According to SMM, from the supply side of the high-grade NPI market, the costs of upstream smelters remain inverted, and their willingness to sell has not yet improved. On the consumption side, as prices rise, some downstream players are purchasing more stainless steel scrap for production. Despite the continuous increase in traders' quotes, the current acceptance of high-grade NPI prices by downstream steel mills remains poor.
