New RKAB Submissions for 2026?

[SMM Flash News] Tri Winarno, Director General of Mineral and Coal (Dirjen Minerba) at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM), stated on Tuesday at the ESDM office that mining companies will be required to resubmit their new Work Plan and Budget (RKAB) for the 2026 production year in October. He emphasized that this requirement applies even to companies who possess RKAB's for 2025 and above. Currently, mining companies are still awaiting the official issuance of the regulation for this new policy. Therefore, RKAB's approved for a three-year period remain valid for the time being. SMM will continue to monitor further regulatory updates.
