【SMM Flash News】Vale Indonesia plans to raise between US$1 billion and $1.2 billion in financing between 2026 and 2027 to support its ongoing nickel mine and smelter projects, according to corporate finance head Andaru Brahmono Adi. The first round, about $500 million, is expected to come from bank loans in early 2026, with potential bond issuance in 2027. The funding will support the development of three nickel mines and the construction of HPAL smelters in partnership with other firms. Its Bahodopi mine is set to begin operations later this year, followed by the Pomalaa mine in 2026.
