MIIT to Soon Introduce Growth Stabilization Plans for Ten Key Industries

Xie Shaofeng, Chief Engineer of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), said at a State Council Information Office press conference on July 18 that work plans for stabilizing growth in ten key industries, including steel, non-ferrous metals, petrochemicals, and building materials, are expected to be introduced soon. The MIIT will encourage key industries to focus on adjusting their structures, optimizing supply, and eliminating outdated capacity.
