Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Huawei's smart car alliance, Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance ("HIMA"), unveiled official images of its upcoming mid-to-large touring sedan, the STELATO S9T, which is under STELATO, the brand co-developed by Huawei and BAIC Group. The model is set to hit the market this fall.

The STELATO S9T follows the alliance's signature "Cosmic Aesthetics" design philosophy. At the front, a pair of galaxy headlights crafted with a dazzling diamond-cut finish gives the fascia a pronounced sense of technological sophistication. Prominent creases on the hood further accentuate the vehicle's muscular and sporty presence.

As for side profile, the model adopts a short front overhang, long wheelbase, and extended rear overhang—proportions that not only elevate its visual elegance but also maximize interior space. The model rides on multi-spoke alloy wheels that add a modern flair, while a functional roof rack underscores its practicality as a touring car, allowing for additional cargo attachments.

At the rear, the STELATO S9T embraces hallmark design cues typical of wagons. The roofline gently slopes from the B-pillar, contributing to a spacious cargo area and potentially increasing headroom for second-row passengers compared to traditional sedans. A large rear spoiler and a full-width "Nebula" taillight cluster add both dynamism and visual depth to the tail design.

Powertrain options are expected to mirror those of the existing STELATO S9. The S9T will likely be offered in both BEV (battery electric vehicle) and REEV (range-extended electric vehicle) versions. The BEV variant is anticipated to come in single- and dual-motor configurations, with the former delivering 227 kW and the latter producing up to 385 kW via an all-wheel-drive setup. The REEV version will pair a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine with an electric motor, offering a combined output of 227 kW, with the engine itself generating 118 kW.
