RKAB Mining Quota Period for One Year Confirmed in 2026?

Indonesia's Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM), Bahlil Lahadalia, announced to the media that starting next year in 2026, the Work Plan and Budget (RKAB) for the mineral and coal mining sector will be implemented on an annual basis. Speaking at the House of Representatives on July 14, Bahlil emphasized that the ESDM Ministry is fully prepared to adopt the new system, both in terms of resources and infrastructure, and noted that the decision had been agreed upon with Commission XII. Director General of Mineral and Coal, Tri Winarno, added that the regulation has been drafted and the supporting system is under development.
