On July 14, Jinda Hongjing (Shache) Hydrogen Energy Technology Co., Ltd. issued a tender announcement for the engineering design and supporting process package of a 250,000 mt/year green methanol (Phase I) and 100,000 mt/year green methanol plant, which is part of a photoelectric-hydrogen coupled biomass gasification co-production project.
According to the tender announcement, the project will be located in Shache County, Kashgar Prefecture, Xinjiang. It includes a 100,000 mt/year green methanol project (comprising electrolytic water hydrogen production, biomass-to-syngas conversion, and green methanol synthesis processes), storage systems, loading stations, and supporting utility and auxiliary facilities, along with their associated utilities and auxiliary works. By-products mainly include by-product steam, biomass gasification residue (plant ash), etc.
The scope of this tender includes the preliminary design and construction drawing engineering design for Jinda Hongjing (Shache) Hydrogen Energy Technology Co., Ltd.'s 100,000 mt/year green methanol project plant (including electrolytic water hydrogen production systems, biomass gasification systems, methanol synthesis (carbon dioxide-rich) units, etc.), as well as the methanol synthesis (carbon dioxide-rich) process package and biomass gasification process package.
The main indicators for the methanol synthesis unit are as follows: plant capacity: 100,000 mt/year; operating time: 8,000 hours/year; operating flexibility: 40%-110%; methanol product quality: meeting the premium grade requirements of national standard GB338-2011; "three wastes" standards: emission standards for pollutants shall comply with relevant national, industrial, and local standards in China, with the final standards subject to the approval of the project's environmental impact assessment.
Design period: The total design cycle for this project is 180 calendar days, including 80 calendar days for preliminary design and 100 calendar days for construction drawing design.
This project accepts consortium bids, with no more than three consortium members. Consortium members must sign a consortium bidding agreement (the consortium bidding agreement shall follow the format specified in the tender documents), with the design institute serving as the leading party of the consortium.
