Australian company South32's nickel-iron ore sale transaction reaches 100 million

Australian mining company South32 has signed a binding agreement with CoreX Holding to sell its Cerro Matoso ferronickel mine in Colombia, with the total transaction value potentially reaching up to $100 million. The agreement includes a nominal upfront payment, plus future payments of up to $80 million, which will depend on future nickel production and prices, as well as payments of up to $20 million related to permits over the next five years.
