Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Chinese automotive parts supplier Autolink announced that cumulative shipments of its AL-C1 smart cockpit domain controller — built on the third-generation Snapdragon SA8155P platform — have surpassed two million units in July, according to a press release issued by Autolink on July 9.
The company data shows that the AL-C1 smart cockpit domain controller has gone into volume production and been integrated into vehicle models from leading Chinese automakers, including Great Wall Motor, GAC Group, Geely, BYD, and Chery. Up to date, the product supporting 14 language versions has been deployed across 80 vehicle programs with 184 unique configurations, and exported to 126 countries and regions worldwide.
Autolink's performance was underscored by a recent report from Gasgoo Auto Research Institute, which said that Autolink ranked third by smart cockpit domain controller installations in China for the Jan.-May period of 2025, recording 237,677 units and capturing a 7.4% market share.
While maintaining high-volume and stable deliveries of the AL-C1, Autolink continues to advance development and production of next-generation products.
Acoording to Autolink, the AL-C2, based on the fourth-generation Snapdragon SA8255P platform and targeting mid-to-high-end segments, is scheduled to enter mass production in the third quarter of this year; meanwhile, the AL-A1, built on the Snapdragon Ride Flex SoC SA8775P and designed for cockpit-driving integration, is expected to be mass-produced in the fourth quarter of this year, with BAIC Group set to be the first adopter.
In June this year, Autolink signed a new strategic cooperation agreement with Qualcomm Technologies. Under the partnership, the two companies will jointly promote large-scale deployment of next-generation mid-to-high-end smart cockpit and cockpit-driving integrated domain controllers, based on the premium-tier Snapdragon® cockpit platform (SA8397P) and Snapdragon Ride™ platform (SA8797P).
Earlier this year, Autolink unveiled a new decade-long development strategy targeting 2035, focused on "platform integration, global expansion, and system-wide collaboration". At its core is a commitment to building global technological and product capabilities by leveraging key controller platforms to drive multi-platform convergence, diversified market strategies, and cross-system synergy.
Looking ahead, Autolink stated it would continue to enhance its technical support and localized delivery capacity in key overseas markets such as Japan, Europe, and North America, deepening international collaboration and accelerating the integration of China-developed smart vehicle solutions into global mainstream markets.
