On July 6, at the Dongjiang Lake Hydrogen Energy Industrial Park in Zixing, Hunan, as representatives from three parties signed the agreement, the nation's first "hydrogen energy + cultural tourism" deep integration project officially kicked off. Guangyin Cultural Tourism (Guangdong), Zhongkexunan (Shenzhen), and Tiancheng Hydrogen Energy (Hunan) announced a strategic partnership to jointly build a 5G zero-carbon cultural tourism service center in Zixing and launch the first batch of hydrogen-powered sightseeing vehicle fleets and science-education cruise ships within the year, marking a breakthrough extension of hydrogen energy technology from the industrial sector to mass consumer scenarios.

This "hydrogen energy cultural tourism alliance" spanning the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and the Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan metropolitan area stems from the three parties' shared vision for a green economy. As a leading digital cultural tourism enterprise in Shenzhen, Wu Jinqiang, Chairman of Zhongkexunan, revealed at the signing ceremony: "We are integrating our digital experience serving 300 scenic spots with Tiancheng Hydrogen Energy's hydrogen power technology." The first phase of this cooperation will implement two major demonstrations: deploying 50 hydrogen-powered cruise ships on Dongjiang Lake waters, equipped with intelligent monitoring systems to achieve "zero-emission navigation"; and deploying hydrogen-powered shuttle buses in scenic areas around the lake, with dynamic passenger flow scheduling through a vehicle networking platform. Notably, the cruise ships will integrate Tiancheng Hydrogen Energy's self-developed hydrogen fuel carbon reduction technology, reducing emissions by 85% compared to traditional fuel-powered ships, while also being equipped with science-education interactive screens to allow tourists to intuitively experience "how green hydrogen is generated from Dongjiang Lake's water sources" during the voyage.

As the "chain leader" enterprise in Hunan's hydrogen energy industry, Chen Jianxin, Chairman of Tiancheng Hydrogen Energy, showcased the unique advantages of its "hydrogen-water symbiosis" on-site: relying on Class I surface water from Dongjiang Lake, the enterprise has established a hydrogen water production line with an annual output of 36 million cans. This cooperation will string together "drinking hydrogen water, riding hydrogen ships, and touring hydrogen parks" into an immersive experience chain. "The hydrogen-powered yachts we are transforming are not just transportation vehicles but also mobile hydrogen energy science museums," Chen Jianxin revealed. The bottom of the cruise ships will be installed with transparent observation windows to display the microscopic process of hydrogen production through water electrolysis in real-time, and child tourists can also "collect" virtual hydrogen molecules through AR devices to exchange for souvenirs.

Behind this cooperation lies Zixing City's hydrogen energy strategy of "attracting industries through scenarios." According to data from the Zixing City Development and Reform Bureau, the local area has already established Hunan Province's first hydrogen energy industrial park and introduced the nation's first low-pressure normal-temperature rare earth hydrogen storage production line. The waterfront project of this tripartite cooperation serves as the core carrier of the city's three-year action plan for "hydrogen energy + cultural tourism." According to the plan, five hydrogen refueling stations will be built in key areas such as Dongjiang Lake and Bailang scenic spots by the end of 2025, and 200 hydrogen-powered sightseeing vehicles will be promoted. Simultaneously, derivative businesses such as hydrogen-themed homestays and hydrogen SPA will be developed, with an expected annual reception of over 500,000 "hydrogen energy tourism" tourists.

"This is not just a simple replacement of transportation vehicles, but a restructuring of the energy logic in the cultural and tourism industry," explained Tian Yong, General Manager of Zhongke Xunan. The collaboration will integrate their independently developed "Cultural and Tourism Brain" system. Through the operational data of hydrogen-powered vehicles, scenic spots can dynamically optimize their carbon emission bills. Tourists can scan a QR code to view real-time hydrogen consumption and generate personal carbon footprint certificates. This "technology + humanity" design has already gained recognition from cultural and tourism departments during preliminary field trips in places like Kaiyang and Chenzhou. In the future, it will expand to new scenarios such as low-altitude hydrogen-powered aircraft and hydrogen-powered camping equipment.

As the signing ceremony concluded, the first batch of hydrogen-powered cruise ships for trial voyages began to take shape on the surface of Dongjiang Lake. This white cruise ship, named "Dongjiang Hydrogen Boat," not only carries the innovative vision of the three partnering enterprises but also reflects the green transformation of an industrial city. When the non-ferrous metal smelting furnaces in Zixing start to be infused with hydrogen "energy," and when the clear waves of Dongjiang Lake support zero-carbon cruise ships, this hydrogen-powered cultural and tourism experiment, which began in Hunan and Guangdong, is writing a vivid practical example for industrial integration under the national "dual carbon" goals.
