Recently, CSSC (Handan) Peric Hydrogen Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Peric Hydrogen Energy"), a subsidiary of the 718th Research Institute under CSSC Group, has successfully delivered its first self-produced "Integrated Device for Electrolytic CO₂ Conversion" to customers. This achievement marks a significant technological breakthrough for Peric Hydrogen Energy in the field of electrochemical resource utilization of carbon dioxide, providing a new solution for carbon emission reduction in industrial applications.
The device adopts the high-efficiency electrolyzer structure and advanced process system independently produced by Peric Hydrogen Energy, and possesses three innovative features:
High-efficiency conversion capability: Under a rated power of 5kW, the single-pass conversion rate of CO₂ exceeds 30%, and it can convert ≥0.4Nm³ of CO₂ per hour;
Wide-load stability: Within the rated load range of 30%-120%, the CO selectivity remains consistently ≥80%, and the system energy conversion efficiency is stabilized above 20%;
Industrial-grade reliability: Continuous 72-hour operational testing has demonstrated excellent reaction stability of the device, with actual operational parameters deviating ≤5% from theoretical values, verifying the device's potential for engineering applications.
As a multifunctional integrated platform, the device not only possesses stable electrolysis capability under rated power but also innovatively integrates four core testing functions - including MEA electrolyzer polarization curve testing, real-time calculation of CO₂ conversion rate, precise analysis of CO selectivity, and systematic assessment of equipment lifespan, forming a comprehensive solution that combines production operations with scientific research and detection.
Combining the resource utilization (consumption) of carbon dioxide with renewable energy (green electricity) represents a new-type technological pathway for achieving the "dual carbon" goals. The successful development and delivery of the first integrated device for electrolytic CO₂ conversion not only fully showcases Peric Hydrogen Energy's solid R&D foundation and technological prowess in the field of green hydrogen and its derivative technologies but also marks a substantive breakthrough for the company in the technological innovation of green electricity conversion and carbon resource utilization, laying a solid foundation for subsequent large-scale applications.
