Anson Resources, POSCO Sign MoU for DLE Demonstration Plant at Green River Lithium Project

Anson Resources and POSCO Holdings have signed a non-binding MoU to collaborate on developing a direct lithium extraction (DLE) demonstration plant at Anson’s Green River lithium project in Utah’s Paradox Basin, marking a key step in Anson’s commercialization strategy. POSCO will lead and fully fund the plant’s construction, including infrastructure and operating costs, pending due diligence and internal assessments expected by December 2025. The partnership may expand to include joint investment in the Green River project, leveraging POSCO’s lithium extraction expertise and validating the project’s potential. The demonstration plant will replicate commercial-scale operations to test the process and produce significant lithium quantities.
