New Hydrogen Power won the bid for 120 hydrogen storage forklifts, 20 hydrogen-powered sightseeing vehicles and boats, and 200 shared bicycles in Peixian County.

On June 26, an announcement was made regarding the winning bid result for the procurement project of solid-state metal hydrogen storage forklifts, hydrogen-powered sightseeing vehicles, hydrogen-powered sightseeing boats, and hydrogen-powered shared bicycles by Peixian Zhongjin Trading Co., Ltd.

According to the result announcement, the bid winner was Jiangsu Xinhydrogen Power Technology Co., Ltd., with a winning bid price of 32.77 million yuan.

Based on the tender announcement, the procurement of solid-state metal hydrogen storage forklifts, hydrogen-powered sightseeing vehicles, hydrogen-powered sightseeing boats, and hydrogen-powered shared bicycles by Peixian Zhongjin Trading Co., Ltd. had an estimated amount of 32.8 million yuan (tax included).

As a key area for hydrogen energy industry layout in Jiangsu Province, Peixian has accelerated the construction of an integrated "production, storage, transportation, and utilization" industry chain in recent years, leveraging its industrial by-product hydrogen resources and PV hydrogen production potential. This procurement project covers four major scenarios: solid-state metal hydrogen storage forklifts, sightseeing vehicles, sightseeing boats, and shared bicycles, reflecting Peixian's strategic intention to extend hydrogen energy applications from the industrial sector to the civilian sector. In particular, the application of solid-state metal hydrogen storage technology, in synergy with the construction of the hydrogen energy power industrial park in Peixian Economic and Technological Development Zone, is expected to position Peixian as a hub for hydrogen energy equipment manufacturing and demonstration applications in the Weishan Lake region.
