NALCO has launched its IA90 aluminium alloy ingot to meet the rising demand from India's electric vehicle sector. Known for its high strength, wear, and corrosion resistance, the alloy is suitable for key automotive components like wheels and structural parts.
With EV sales in India surpassing 2 million units in 2024 (7.7% of total auto sales), NALCO aims to expand its presence in the auto-grade aluminium segment through performance-driven, application-specific products.
