On June 23, the launch ceremony for Guangdong Hydrogen Power's "Hydrogen Vehicle 10,000-km Journey" was held, marking the official regular operation of the Pearl River Delta - Western Guangdong Hydrogen Energy Cold Chain Transportation Demonstration Line. This line primarily focuses on cold chain distribution within the Pearl River Delta region and between the Pearl River Delta and Western Guangdong. Guangdong Hydrogen Power's 4.5 mt hydrogen fuel cell refrigerated trucks, with their driving range of over 400 kilometers and the ability to refuel hydrogen in just 5-8 minutes, address the range anxiety and charging time issues associated with traditional electric refrigerated trucks. On mountainous roads in Western Guangdong, the vehicles' hydrogen fuel cell systems provide strong power, and the intelligent temperature control system accurately maintains the cargo compartment temperature between -18℃ and 10℃, ensuring the quality of fresh produce.

This line operates with zero carbon emissions throughout its journey, departing from hydrogen refueling stations in the early morning and traveling between Yangjiang Aquatic Market, Maoming Fruit Base, and core cities in the Greater Bay Area. It not only ensures the supply of the Greater Bay Area's "vegetable basket" but also validates the technological capabilities and business model of hydrogen energy cold chain.
