Jiangsu New Energy announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Jiangsu New Energy Changchu Technology Co., Ltd., successfully completed the grid connection of the Guoxin Liyang 100MW/200MWh ESS Power Station Project on June 13, 2025. The project is a standalone ESS power station that adopts a non-walk-in liquid-cooled LFP (for ESS) energy storage technology route. It aims to leverage the rapid response and peak shaving capabilities of electrochemical energy storage to participate in power grid peak shaving operations, promote the consumption of new energy, and alleviate the pressure on power grid peak shaving.

CNNC announced winners of its 2026-2028 LFP energy storage system centralized procurement on October 14. Sungrow, CATL, Zhongtian Energy Storage, CRRC Zhuzhou Institute and Kehua won with bids of RMB 0.4995-0.5329/Wh.
