Green Hydrogen Project Tracking - A Green Hydrogen Project in Inner Mongolia Approved, Scheduled to Commence in August

Recently, the Green Electricity-based Hydrogen Production Project (Phase I) at the Ganjimaodu Port Processing Park of Guomeng Hydrogen Energy Technology (Bayannur) Co., Ltd. has been filed for record.

The project is undertaken by Guomeng Hydrogen Energy Technology (Bayannur) Co., Ltd. and is located to the west of Jingsi Road, north of Zhongzhou Road, east of Jingsan Road, and south of Yuanxin Company in the Ganjimaodu Port Processing Park, Urad Middle Banner, Bayannur City. The total investment is 5.65 billion yuan.

The project involves the construction of a new renewable hydrogen energy production, storage, and transportation base with a capacity of 240,000 Nm³/h (annual hydrogen production of 120,000 tons) and a hydrogen storage capacity of 300 tons. The project covers a total area of 580 mu, with a total construction area of approximately 270,000 m². The main buildings include an electrolytic hydrogen production plant, power transformation and distribution facilities, a comprehensive building (including a central control room), a guardhouse, an air compression and nitrogen generation station, a fire water station, and storage facilities. The main equipment includes electrolytic water hydrogen production units, hydrogen purification and compression systems, a pure water system, a cooling system, and circulating water units, along with the construction of corresponding infrastructure and ancillary facilities.

Planned construction period: August 2025 to February 2027.

Please proceed with relevant work accordingly. Before commencing construction, other procedures required by laws and regulations must be completed. This is hereby notified!

Total Investment: 5.65 billion yuan, including 1.13 billion yuan of self-owned funds, 4.52 billion yuan of bank loans applied for, and 0 yuan from other sources.

Supplementary instructions: If there are changes to the project legal entity, significant changes to the construction location, scale, or content, a total investment change of over 20%, or if the project construction is abandoned after filing, the relevant party must promptly inform the filing authority through the online platform and modify the relevant information or cancel the filing. Energy conservation reviews are required before project commencement, and dynamic information on project construction progress must be reported online after commencement.

(Note: If a project has not commenced construction or undergone any other procedures within 2 years of filing, and the project entity decides to continue with the project, an explanation must be provided through the online platform. If the project entity decides not to continue, an application must be submitted to cancel the filed project. If no explanation is provided and the project is not cancelled within 2 years, the filing authority will delete the filed project and make a public announcement on the online platform.)
