Shanghai Electric and China National Chemical Engineering Group Held Talks on Deepening Cooperation in Wind and Solar Power, PV+ESS, Hydrogen and Other Fields

On the morning of June 6, Mo Dingge, Party Secretary and Chairman of China National Chemical Engineering Group Corporation Limited (hereinafter referred to as "CNCEC"), held talks with Wu Lei, Party Secretary and Chairman of Shanghai Electric Group, and his delegation. The two sides conducted in-depth exchanges on deepening cooperation and expanding business areas.

Mo Dingge reviewed the cooperation history with Shanghai Electric and introduced the corporate profile of CNCEC. He stated that in recent years, CNCEC has been guided by high-quality development, adhering to the "dual-wheel drive" of technological innovation and management innovation, formulating and implementing the "135" development strategy, cultivating new quality productive forces according to local conditions, and accelerating the construction of a world-class enterprise. There is broad space for cooperation between Shanghai Electric and CNCEC. He hoped that both sides would fully leverage their respective advantages to deepen cooperation in areas such as green upgrading of traditional chemical industries, energy conservation and carbon reduction in chemical parks, and the construction of joint R&D platforms, jointly achieving high-quality development.

Wu Lei introduced the historical evolution and current business layout of Shanghai Electric and reviewed past business cooperation between the two parties. He stated that Shanghai Electric has profound technological accumulation and rich project experience in high-end equipment manufacturing and new energy development, which highly aligns with and complements CNCEC's industrial layout. He hoped that based on the existing good cooperation, both sides would further strengthen scientific research and innovation linkages, focusing on key areas such as wind and solar power plus energy storage and hydrogen, localisation substitution, environmental protection and resource recycling, and overseas market expansion, deepening the level of cooperation to achieve mutual benefit and win-win outcomes.
