On June 5, Peixian Zhongjin Trading Co., Ltd. issued a public tender announcement for the procurement of solid-state metal hydrogen storage forklifts, hydrogen-powered sightseeing vehicles, hydrogen-powered sightseeing boats, and hydrogen-powered shared bicycles.
The announcement stated that the estimated procurement amount for solid-state metal hydrogen storage forklifts, hydrogen-powered sightseeing vehicles, hydrogen-powered sightseeing boats, and hydrogen-powered shared bicycles by Peixian Zhongjin Trading Co., Ltd. was 32.8 million yuan (tax included).

It is understood that as early as 2023, the Jiangsu Provincial National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) issued the "Reply to Proposal No. 1072 of the First Session of the 14th Jiangsu Provincial People's Congress (Regarding the Proposal to Support Peixian County in Building a Hydrogen Energy Equipment Manufacturing Industrial Base)." The proposal aims to assist in the development of Peixian County's hydrogen energy industry in the following aspects.
First, accelerate the research and formulation of guidelines for the development of the hydrogen energy industry, support the integration of hydrogen energy and construction machinery industries in Xuzhou, including Peixian County. Focus on attracting core parts projects such as hydrogen compressors, circulation pumps, and hydrogen storage cylinders, in conjunction with XCMG Group's hydrogen fuel cell commercial vehicles and special-purpose vehicles, to create a unique hydrogen energy industrial cluster. Second, actively communicate and coordinate with relevant departments to strengthen the energy attributes of hydrogen, promote policy optimization, and actively address institutional bottlenecks in site selection, project approval, licensing, and operation for hydrogen energy projects. Support the launch of pilot projects for large-scale hydrogen production outside chemical industrial parks. Third, support Peixian County in carrying out demonstration applications of hydrogen-powered heavy-duty trucks, study relevant subsidy support policies, and guide the rapid formation of replicable and scalable application models.
