On June 4, the delivery and operation ceremony for the second batch of hydrogen-powered sanitation vehicles in Anhui province was held in Jin'an District, Lu'an City. Tomorrow Hydrogen Energy Company handed over the keys to the new vehicles to the Lu'an subsidiary of Fulongma Group, marking the official delivery and operation of the second batch of hydrogen-powered sanitation sweeper trucks in Anhui province.

Under the determined path of developing the hydrogen energy industry in Lu'an City, Tomorrow Hydrogen Energy and Fulongma Group have formed a strong alliance. Through their joint efforts, they have opened up application scenarios for hydrogen-powered sanitation vehicles in the local area. Relying on the green hydrogen demonstration application of Jin'an Tomorrow Hydrogen Energy's "production-refueling integrated station," the batch deployment of these hydrogen fuel cell sanitation vehicles has also formed an "electricity-hydrogen-application" energy closed loop.

The vehicles delivered this time are 18-mt hydrogen-powered sanitation sweeper trucks jointly developed by Tomorrow Hydrogen Energy Company and Fulongma Group. Equipped with a 101kW high-performance fuel cell system independently developed by Tomorrow Hydrogen Energy, they can achieve rapid cold starts at minus 30℃, with a single-charge driving range exceeding 400 kilometers, a 70% increase in operation time, completely eliminating the range anxiety of BEV models, adapting to the needs of cross-district operations in cities, and achieving zero emissions throughout their life cycle.

The vehicles feature an integrated three-mode collaborative operation of "sweeping, washing, and suction," with a maximum sweeping capacity of 70,000 m²/h and a cleaning rate of ≥95%. A single machine can replace multiple traditional devices, reducing comprehensive procurement costs by 40% and increasing operational efficiency by 120% compared to international first-tier brands. Meanwhile, the vehicles have a personalized traffic light start-stop mode, automatically detecting the chassis speed during operation and dynamically adjusting operations such as sweeping disc water spraying and high-pressure pipeline water spraying to achieve a low-energy consumption mode. This results in a 25% reduction in daily average operational energy consumption costs, a reduction of over 150,000 yuan in annual operating costs, and an additional 18% reduction in energy consumption.

Since the launch of Anhui province's first hydrogen-powered sanitation demonstration application scenario in Jin'an District, Lu'an City, in April 2023, the local area has actively expanded hydrogen energy application scenarios, achieving remarkable results in "promoting development through application." The first 18-mt hydrogen-powered sanitation sweeper truck can be refueled in just 8-10 minutes, with a single refueling of approximately 20 kg, enabling continuous sweeping operations for over 12 hours. So far, it has accumulated an operating mileage of over 40,000 kilometers, reducing carbon emissions by over 100 mt, equivalent to planting hundreds of mu of forest land.

Compared with traditional fuel-powered sanitation vehicles and BEV sanitation vehicles, they have an energy conversion efficiency as high as 60%. Compared with similar 18-mt fuel-powered sanitation vehicles, they have strong environmental adaptability, effectively addressing the performance degradation of lithium batteries in low-temperature conditions and improving operational efficiency. With advantages such as "zero emissions, low noise, operation in low-temperature conditions, and time-saving refueling," they are highly favored by users.
