Green Hydrogen Project Tracking—Jiangsu Trina Green Hydrogen Technology Co., Ltd. and China Research & Chemical Group Officially Sign Procurement Agreement

On the afternoon of May 26, the Lianyungang Economic and Technological Development Zone held an economic and trade negotiation event for non-public enterprises. Lu Gang, Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Head of the United Front Work Department, Shang Zhenjiang, Member of the Municipal Party Standing Committee and Secretary of the Party Working Committee of the Municipal Development Zone, Zheng Tao, Chairman of China Research and Chemical Group, Pan Guozheng, General Manager of Jiangsu Hydrogen Hero Technology, Song Xiaokang, Deputy Director of the Municipal Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), Wang Yuxiang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee and Executive Deputy Director of the Management Committee of the Municipal Development Zone, as well as representatives from financial institutions attended the event.

During the event, representatives and guests from enterprises such as China Research and Chemical Group and Hydrogen Hero Technology visited the Zhongfu Shenying Carbon Fiber Factory, the China Pharmaceutical Port Exhibition Hall, and the Hydrogen Hero Technology plant. During the visit, both sides discussed the application of carbon fiber materials in hydrogen energy equipment, the potential for cross-industry integration of medical scenarios with hydrogen energy technology, the R&D achievements and industrialisation progress of Hydrogen Hero Technology's green electricity-based hydrogen production equipment. This discussion built a bridge for technological complementarity and resource sharing among enterprises and laid the foundation for subsequent collaborative practices.

Subsequently, Hydrogen Hero Technology and China Research and Chemical Group officially signed a procurement agreement for 96 sets of equipment, with a total value amounting to hundreds of millions of yuan. It is reported that Hydrogen Hero Technology's green electricity-based hydrogen production equipment project was signed and settled on February 28 this year, with construction commencing on April 22. Securing a large order just 34 days after the start of construction highlights the quality of projects in the municipal development zone and the efficiency of its park services.

In recent years, the municipal development zone has focused on the entire hydrogen energy industry chain, promoting the integration of technology R&D, equipment manufacturing, and application scenarios, significantly enhancing innovation and green elements in the hydrogen energy industry. This collaboration is a crucial link in the development of the hydrogen energy industry chain in the development zone and a vivid practice of non-public enterprises driving high-quality local economic development. This project will accelerate the industrialisation process of green electricity-based hydrogen production technology, adding momentum to Lianyungang's hydrogen energy industry and setting an example for industrial collaboration between the eastern and western regions.
