







The project outcome of "Key Technologies and Applications for Detection of Electrolytic Water Hydrogen Production Equipment," led by Guohua Investment (Hydrogen Energy Company) and specifically organized and implemented by its subsidiary Guoneng Hydrogen Innovation Company, has passed the technical achievement appraisal organized by the Chinese Society for Electrical Engineering. The key technologies have reached an internationally leading level, marking a significant breakthrough in China's core technology research in the field of electrolytic water hydrogen production equipment detection.
This project, in response to the detection needs of electrolytic water hydrogen production equipment, conducted a series of studies in areas such as operating condition testing, parameter adjustment, and safety protection. It creatively proposed key technologies, including the wide-load operating condition testing technology for electrolyzers under fluctuating wind and solar power output, the precise multi-parameter clock synchronization acquisition and energy-quality joint calculation technology for electricity-hydrogen systems, and the three-dimensional safety protection technology for interlocking between the equipment body and the gas environment. It developed the world's first integrated testing platform for 1,000 Nm³/h alkaline electrolytic water hydrogen production equipment, addressing the lack of safe and stable testing technologies for hydrogen production from renewable energy sources both domestically and overseas. It completed dynamic testing under combined conditions of a wide power range of 5-150% and a wide pressure range of 0.3-3.2 MPa, effectively improving the testing accuracy of key technical parameters such as hydrogen production, current efficiency, and energy consumption. It possesses the capability for real-time analysis of hydrogen purity, and has achieved functions such as hydrogen micro-leakage localization and intelligent early warning, as well as wide-power adaptive, highly reliable, and long-cycle operation.
The project outcome has been included in the fourth batch of the National Energy Administration's list of major technological equipment in the energy sector, supporting the "Hydrogen Energy Leader Initiative" of the China Hydrogen Energy Alliance. It has carried out the production, sales, and market-oriented testing services of detection equipment, effectively promoting the commercialization of hydrogen energy equipment detection. The complete set of testing equipment and testing methods developed have supported the formulation of testing standards for key hydrogen energy equipment. They have been promoted and applied in five detection bases, including those in Fangshan, Beijing; Ordos, Inner Mongolia; and Zhangzhou, Fujian, driving the creation of world-leading demonstration projects for green electricity and green hydrogen. The project has significant economic, social, and promotional application value, and is of great importance for enhancing the optimization and design level of China's hydrogen production equipment and accelerating the large-scale application of green hydrogen.
