[Canyon Secures $140m Credit for Cameroon Bauxite Project]

On May 26, 2025, Canyon Resources announced it has secured a $140 million credit facility from AFG Bank Cameroon to fund Stage 1 of its Minim Martap bauxite project in Cameroon. The financing will support key infrastructure developments, including rail and port facilities and the procurement of locomotives and wagons. Additionally, major shareholder Eagle Eye Asset Holdings plans to inject A$24.5 million by exercising 350 million options.

Canyon has made significant progress since receiving its mining license in September 2024, acquiring land for critical infrastructure and preparing for a final investment decision and definitive feasibility study. First drawdown of the facility is expected in Q3 2025. The 2022 bankable feasibility study outlines annual production of up to 6.4 million tonnes of high-grade bauxite.
