Shaanxi Hydrogen Energy and Northwest Institute for Nonferrous Metals Research Hold a Discussion and Exchange Meeting

On May 21, Shaanxi Hydrogen Energy and the Northwest Institute for Nonferrous Metal Research held a discussion and exchange session on the R&D and application of green and intelligent electrolysis equipment. Huang Ye, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Shaanxi Hydrogen Energy, and Pei Weizhi, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Northwest Institute for Nonferrous Metal Research, attended the discussion.

Huang Ye welcomed Pei Weizhi and his delegation, and introduced the background of Shaanxi Hydrogen Energy's establishment, its business layout, and its operational and developmental status. He stated that the Northwest Institute for Nonferrous Metal Research has a long history and remarkable achievements in scientific research and the commercialization of its findings. Shaanxi Hydrogen Energy is willing to strengthen communication and collaboration with the Northwest Institute for Nonferrous Metal Research in areas such as the R&D of hydrogen storage materials, hydrogen energy equipment manufacturing, and hydrogen energy metallurgical applications. It aims to deepen collaborative innovation across the entire hydrogen energy industry chain and strive to create an innovative demonstration path for the deep integration of "hydrogen energy + materials," contributing to the upgrading of Shaanxi's traditional energy and chemical industries and their green and low-carbon transformation.

Pei Weizhi introduced the historical evolution, corporate development, scientific and technological R&D, and the commercialization of findings at the Northwest Institute for Nonferrous Metal Research. He pointed out that the Northwest Institute for Nonferrous Metal Research has outstanding advantages in applied technology research. As the "leading enterprise" of the provincial hydrogen energy industry chain, Shaanxi Hydrogen Energy is committed to building a comprehensive hydrogen energy industry chain system encompassing "production, storage, transportation, refueling, and utilization." Both parties have broad prospects for cooperation in the R&D and application of hydrogen energy equipment. He hoped that both sides would take this exchange as an opportunity to fully leverage their respective strengths and jointly promote the high-quality development of the hydrogen energy industry.
