On May 21, 2025, Hydrogen Green Energy (Wuhan) Co., Ltd. and Hunan Guoci Power Technology Co., Ltd. held a strategic cooperation signing ceremony in Wuhan. The two parties will engage in in-depth cooperation in the fields of liquid hydrogen storage and transportation, as well as hydrogen power generation technology. On the day of the signing, Jiang Yudong, General Manager of Hunan Guoci Power, and his delegation conducted a field trip to the Yunmeng Test Base of Hydrogen Green Energy, gaining a detailed understanding of the R&D progress of hydrogen internal combustion engines and power generation systems. The technical teams from both sides held in-depth exchanges on key technologies such as the adaptation of liquid hydrogen electric drive systems and hydrogen power generation microgrids.

Industry-Academia-Research Collaboration to Co-Create a New Chapter of Development

In the afternoon of the same day, the two parties gathered at the School of Energy and Power Engineering, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, to engage in technical discussions with experts and scholars including Professor Cheng Xiaobei. Professor Cheng spoke highly of the cooperation between the two parties and expressed full support for the establishment of an innovation platform for university-enterprise collaboration.

Powerful Alliance to Build a Hydrogen Energy Ecosystem

According to the agreement, the two parties will jointly establish the "Joint Laboratory for Liquid Hydrogen-Hydrogen Power Generation," focusing on tackling core technologies such as low-temperature startup and high-load durability of hydrogen internal combustion engines, and jointly applying for major national science and technology projects. Meanwhile, the two parties will also promote the establishment of an innovation center for green microgrids to accelerate the commercial application of liquid hydrogen new energy technologies. This cooperation marks a deep synergy between the two enterprises in the hydrogen energy field, jointly contributing to the realization of the national "dual carbon" strategic goals by integrating industrial resources and university research capabilities. In the future, the two parties will continue to deepen their cooperation, build a hydrogen energy industry ecosystem, and contribute to the development of new energy technologies.
