Recently, the People's Government of Gu County, Shanxi Province, issued the "First Public Notice on Public Participation in the Environmental Impact Assessment for the 250,000 mt/Year Methanol and 60,000 mt/Year Liquid Ammonia Co-Production Project Using Coke Oven Gas by Shanxi Gu County Lvzhou New Energy Co., Ltd., by the Administrative Approval Service Department of Gu County Economic and Technological Development Zone."

According to the notice, the 250,000 mt/Year Methanol and 60,000 mt/Year Liquid Ammonia Co-Production Project Using Coke Oven Gas by Shanxi Gu County Lvzhou New Energy Co., Ltd. is a new project located 500 meters north of Baisu Village, Guyang Town, Gu County Economic and Technological Development Zone, Linfen City, Shanxi Province. The total investment in the project is 1.0696 billion yuan, and the construction scale includes an annual production capacity of 250,000 mt of methanol and 60,000 mt of liquid ammonia. The construction entity is Shanxi Gu County Lvzhou New Energy Co., Ltd.

Construction content: coke oven gas purification process, pure oxygen conversion process, compression process, methanol synthesis process, methanol distillation process, methanol and intermediate tank farm, loading station, purge gas hydrogen extraction process, ammonia synthesis compression process, ammonia synthesis process, liquid ammonia tank farm, refrigeration station, power transformation and distribution room, air separation system, circulating water station, foam fire station, emergency water pool, desalination water station, deoxygenation station, fire water station, explosion-proof control room/cabinet room, analytical laboratory, flare system, temporary storage for hazardous waste, maintenance workshop and spare parts warehouse, comprehensive building (including canteen), logistics guard room, and personnel guard room.
