Fed Officials Diverge on Interest Rate Outlook, June Rate Hold Likely

According to CME's "FedWatch", the probability of the US Fed maintaining interest rates unchanged in June is 91.6%, while the probability of a 25-basis-point interest rate cut is only 8.64%; the probability of the US Fed maintaining interest rates unchanged in July is 65.1%, the cumulative probability of a 25-basis-point interest rate cut is 32.5%, and the cumulative probability of a 50-basis-point interest rate cut is 2.4%.
