Recently, the bid evaluation results for PV inverters in 2025 were announced. The project is divided into three power segments, including:
Centralized PV power generation medium- and low-power inverters (5-150kW): Huawei Digital Power Technologies Co., Ltd., TBEA Xinjiang New Energy Co., Ltd.;
Centralized PV power generation large-power inverters (>150KW): Huawei Digital Power Technologies Co., Ltd., Kehua Data Co., Ltd., Sineng Electric Co., Ltd., Sungrow Power Supply Co., Ltd.;
Distributed PV power generation medium- and low-power inverters (5-150kW): TBEA Xinjiang New Energy Co., Ltd., Sineng Electric Co., Ltd.
According to public documents, the prequalification announcement for centralized PV power generation large-power inverters (>150KW) and centralized PV power generation medium- and low-power inverters (5-150kW) indicates that bidders must be PV inverter manufacturers (with the capability to research, develop, produce, and assemble the entire equipment, and OEM is not allowed). Bidders must have an average annual shipment of string inverters of no less than 2GW in the past three years (referring to the three years preceding the first release date of this tender announcement) and provide relevant proof of sales performance.
In addition, for the (5-150kW) power segment, the tender requires bidders to provide sales performance of inverters for small-scale PV power generation systems in fueling, gas filling, and hydrogen refueling stations or sales performance of inverters for small- and medium-sized industrial and commercial PV power generation projects in the past three years (referring to the three years preceding the first release date of this tender announcement), with a cumulative number of stations of no less than 50.
