Rockcheck New Energy (Tianjin) Hydrogen Energy Technology Co., Ltd. has successfully secured the tender for the 6×4 hydrogen fuel cell heavy-duty truck tractor leasing project of Ansteel Automobile Transportation Co., Ltd., marking the commencement of Rockcheck New Energy Group's strategic layout in north-east China.

Technological Leadership: Creating a Benchmark Case in Frigid Environments

The hydrogen energy transportation scenario for this collaboration is the route from Ansteel (Shenyang) Steel Processing and Distribution Center to Ansteel ThyssenKrupp Automotive Steel (Dalian Base), transporting steel products via the Shenyang-Dalian Expressway, covering a round trip of 760 kilometers. The hydrogen fuel cell heavy-duty truck tractors provided by Rockcheck New Energy are equipped with the Rockcheck Hydrogen Power Fe6-200kw fuel cell system, achieving a full-hydrogen driving range of 700 kilometers, with multiple performance indicators leading the industry.

In response to the frigid climate and complex road conditions in north-east China, Rockcheck's hydrogen-powered heavy-duty trucks have undergone rigorous low-temperature startup, icy and snowy road surface, and heavy-load tests, fully validating the reliability and adaptability of the products in frigid environments, and fully meeting the requirements of Ansteel's technical standards, including the -30°C extreme cold startup capability and 360-kilometer hybrid driving range. These vehicles provide heating for the cab through waste heat recovery from the fuel cell, further reducing hydrogen consumption in winter.

Full-Chain Collaboration: Empowering the Green Transformation of the Steel Industry

As an integrator of hydrogen energy industry solutions, Rockcheck New Energy Group has established an integrated hydrogen energy industry chain covering "production, storage, transportation, refueling, utilization, research, and equipment manufacturing". Its zero-carbon hydrogen energy transportation model covers regions such as Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, Shanxi, and Inner Mongolia, serving multiple types of scenarios including steel, chemicals, ports, mines, and industrial parks, leading the application practice of hydrogen-powered commercial vehicles.

Relying on the aforementioned advantages, Rockcheck New Energy will construct a closed-loop hydrogen production, transportation, refueling, and utilization industry chain with Ansteel Group and CIMC ENRIC through this collaborative project. Among them, the coke oven gas-to-hydrogen project jointly undertaken by Ansteel and CIMC ENRIC has an annual hydrogen production capacity of up to 24 million m³, providing a stable source of green hydrogen for hydrogen-powered heavy-duty trucks. Leveraging its experience in operating 12 hydrogen refueling stations, 800 hydrogen-powered vehicles, and over 33,000 mt of carbon dioxide emission reductions, Rockcheck will assist Ansteel in creating a model for green transportation.

This collaboration not only represents Rockcheck New Energy Group's first large-scale application project for hydrogen-powered heavy-duty trucks in the north-east region but also marks an important milestone for the company's expansion beyond the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and its nationwide layout. Rockcheck New Energy Group will take the Ansteel project as a demonstration benchmark, deepen its business layout in the north-east region, and continuously output the "Rockcheck Solution". Through the dual-wheel drive of technological innovation and model innovation, it will accelerate the construction of a hydrogen energy ecosystem, contribute to the establishment of a clean, low-carbon, safe, and efficient energy system, and inject new momentum into the region's green and low-carbon development.
